Single layer refers to a tubular object composed of a single material, just like its literal meaning. Suitable for use without pressure burden. The next step is multi-layer construction, which is divided into three categories.

 

 

① Rubber hoses composed of different materials for the inner and outer tubes

② Woven construction rubber hose with middle layer braided wire

③ A coil shaped hose made of metal or resin wire wound together

 

For example, if the color of the outer tube is changed, the type and flow direction of the fluid can be distinguished. In addition, if the inner tube is made of fluorine resin and the outer tube is made of PVC resin, it can improve the drug resistance and also make the hose softer.

② The weaving structure can make the rubber hose have high pressure resistance and can transport a large amount of fluid in a short period of time. But it cannot withstand negative pressure (attraction).

③ The coil structure of the hose not only withstands pressure and compression, but also ensures smooth pipeline operation when the hose is small and bent. In addition, when the rubber hose is subjected to negative pressure (suction), it can also avoid compression and can be used for transporting fluids. However, the pressure resistance during compression is inferior to that of woven rubber hoses.
